Yellow wheat dextrin is a fine powder of yellow color produced by acid-thermal decomposition of wheat starch. It is completely soluble in water and exhibits strong adhesive properties, functioning as an adhesive, thickener, color enhancer, carrier, and binding agent.
Yellow wheat dextrin is a fully water-soluble modified starch renowned for its pronounced adhesive strength and carrier properties. Its complete solubility (92–100%) makes it ideal as a carrier in powder products such as spice mixes, instant soups, and drinks. In meat and confectionery applications it provides excellent adhesion and coloring enhancement without altering the taste of the final product.
