Poultry fat is a biofuel feedstock characterized by a relatively high unsaturated fatty acid content and eligibility for double-counting under RED II. Its lower titre point makes it more fluid at ambient temperatures, facilitating easier handling and processing into HVO and FAME.
Poultry fat is a rendered fat from chicken, turkey, and duck processing. It is an Annex IX advanced biofuel feedstock under EU RED II.
