Pork fat is a raw material for oleochemical applications characterized by its softer texture and high oleic acid content compared to bovine tallow. It is processed through splitting and hydrogenation to produce fatty acids and derivatives used in soap, cosmetics, and industrial lubricant manufacturing.
Pork fat (lard) is a rendered fat derived from porcine adipose tissue. It has a distinctive fatty acid profile high in oleic acid.
