Raw glycerin is an economical energy source used in ruminant and swine diets to replace grain-based energy. Refined glycerin (min 99.5% purity) is a high-purity, versatile humectant used as a functional ingredient in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and technical applications including oleochemical synthesis.
Glycerin is a polyol compound derived as a co-product of biodiesel production and fat splitting. It exists in both crude (raw) and purified (refined) grades.
